Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born 17th October, 1992) is an acclaimed Indian actress. Keerthy appears in Tamil film and Telugu movies, along with a handful of Malayalam. She was awarded the National Film Award for Best Actress in the role of actress Savitri in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). Also, she has received three SIIMA Awards as well as the Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar Suresh happens to be the actor Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. At the beginning of 2000, she began as a young actress. After completing her studies in fashion design, she went back to the world of film. The first time she starred in a leading role was in 2013's Malayalam movie Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In 2015, Keerthy accepted her first projects outside of Malayalam and signed on to be a part of several Tamil films at the same time. It was A. L. Vijay together alongside Vikram the director, that released Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. It didn't go much, but it did get released. Because of her hectic schedule in 2015, she could not choose but to withdraw from films on which she was already doing work, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. The actress was in two films quickly, along with Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also an actor of note in Prabhu's Thodari. The movie's release was pushed back in the year 2015, and is now expected to take place after September of 2020. The film will be released under a different title, Janakitho Nenu. Subsequently, the debut was the 2016 film Nenu Sailaja featuring actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy played the lead role in Bairavaa directed by Bharathan and starring actor Vijay. She also appeared on screen in Tamil film Paambhu sattai and Telugu film Nenu Local in 2017.
