Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American singer-actress. She was best known for her role as Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012), and Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). In 2015, she was in the character of Jerrica Jem in the film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. She is the younger sibling of Ally. Aubrey was a part-time performer for ten years with Orlando Repertory Theatre. She graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was the valedictory speaker for the class in 2012. Harvard University had accepted her. However, they agreed to her admission twice in order for her to take on the role in Nashville. Peeples played a role as a guest in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2012) Grey's Anatomy (2005). Peeples was a part of the TV films Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009) as well as The Good Mother. She was one of the main characters on the Nashville series, where she appeared as Layla Grant. Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder during an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire identified Peeples among the top performers under the age of twenty of age in September 2014.
